Welcome to Termlify ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our school management software and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your institution to use our Service.
Our Service includes a multi-tenant, domain-based school management software that provides modules such as Academic, Finance, CBT, Admissions, and more. Access is provided on a unit-based billing system, which is renewable on a termly basis.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information during sign-up. You must verify your email via the link provided to complete registration and tenant provisioning.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
Upon sign-up and email verification, your school-specific application (tenant) will be provisioned on a unique subdomain (e.g., yourschool.termlify.com). This process may take a few minutes.
Units are consumed based on your usage of different modules and their features. Some features may require multiple units.
Unit consumption policies are documented in the system. See the Unit Policy Guide for full details.
All payments are made in advance based on the selected pricing tier. Units are valid for the current academic term.
Unused units may roll over to the next term only if a minimum threshold of new units is purchased.
Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.
You agree not to use the Service:
Each tenant owns its data. We will never sell your data. We provide tools to export your data upon request.
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Support is provided via email or live chat during business hours.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days. You will be notified via email before permanent deletion, unless requested otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the new Terms. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notifications.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
